We had an absolutely amazing stay at a wonderfully unique property with friendly and accommodating staff. the breakfast was excellent and extensive, and the atmosphere was nothing like a hotel chain. the location was perfect, with beautiful walking trails and a palace hotel in the nearby Bussaco forest. the plush white terry robes added a nice touch to our stay. We were sad to leave and can't wait to come back!
Everything was great! 😊.

We had an amazing stay at a charming villa in Luso. The beautiful 19/20th century house felt like a museum, with the original decorations still intact. The surrounding area was fabulous, with a swimming pool, tennis courts, and a park nearby. Our bedroom was spacious and beautifully decorated, and the large bathroom had a lovely Jacuzzi. We would definitely come back if we're in Portugal again.
The only drawback we noticed was the narrow winding staircase, which could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Also, being an old building made mostly of wood, fire safety measures may not meet international standards.

The stay at this vintage property was like a fairytale come true. The building itself is like a small palace, situated in the middle of a lavish garden. The staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from, including fresh cheese and flavorful presunto. the location was perfect as it was centrally located and within walking distance to the thermal bath and the beautiful Bussaco forest.
That the rooms could get a little chilly, but it didn't dampen our overall experience. Another minor issue was the thin corridor in the stairs, which made it a bit cramped at times.

The breakfast items could have been of better quality, but it didn't spoil our overall experience.

During our stay at Vila Aurora, we were greeted by a friendly gentleman who ensured we had a smooth check-in process. The room we stayed in had beautiful decor and a comfortable bed. We were delighted to find that the breakfast provided at Hotel Eden was of good quality. Although there were a few small hiccups, such as a delay in hot water availability and some noise from nearby dogs, these did not significantly impact our overall experience. Despite these minor inconveniences, we would recommend this hotel for a couple of nights' stay.

The location of the hotel is excellent, with easy access to the stunning Busaco National Park and the beautiful cities of Coimbra and Aveiro. the rooms are big and quiet, providing a peaceful and comfortable stay. the staff is very helpful and the breakfast buffet offers a bountiful and tasty selection. You can also enjoy beautiful sunsets from the observation deck on the top of the building.
The pool area and grounds near it seem to show signs of decline, with abandoned furniture and old linens.

I had the most incredible princess experience at Vila Aurora Guest House! The lady who runs the place made me feel right at home. The villa is filled with beautiful relics and the terrace with the pool is absolutely amazing. I even climbed up the tower and got a breathtaking view of the valley. The breakfast was delicious, served with lovely dishes. I am so grateful for this unforgettable experience!
